Spiritual Glamour

Spiritual information that cannot be applied directly to our understanding of self is useless -- if it only teases the imagination, it is worthless.

If what we are taught cannot be practically applied to expand our understanding of ourselves within, it is deception.

Spiritual glamour is not awareness.  It only supports the spiritual ego, not the path to inner knowing.

There is too much glamour in the religious, spiritual, new age and metaphysics communities!  Too many seem headed for Hollywood – have they forgotten the way “Home”?

What is Your Value?

What is Your Value?

In today’s world, it is not practical to live a spiritual, or aware, life.

Life is based on our productivity, not our value, as a living being.

It is also not necessary to be aware and poor.

Time is needed to detox from mass consciousness and find our way. Until we know ourselves, we have little to offer others that will touch them and help them understand their life.

It may be necessary to back off from the rat race we have created for ourselves. Bravery is the courage to accept what life offers, without complaint, and to silently surrender.

Tasting Death

Tasting Death

We do not feel life, until we have tasted death.

Our mind and ego create a persona that masks the true life within us. Death’s somber presence drops the curtain of the mind and ego, revealing the bare innocence within us.

We have nowhere to go, but to embrace the death within us. Death reveals the deep landscape of our inner being and unveils the knowingness of our true nature.

Welcome any death that touches you, even your own.  Allow the majesty of our soul to baptize you into communion with truth, awareness, and reality.

Too Close

Too Close

Sometimes we are too close to see the big picture. Our eyes are focused too narrowly to see all that is around us.

This is the problem with science, mysticism, and new age thought. We see what we want to see, not what is actually there.

The eyes of awareness are the inner eyes of our consciousness.  They see what is to be known as our truth.

Science only looks at the visible physical world. Mysticism and new age thought often proclaim a truth they cannot explain, or verify.

Spiritual and Scientific vanity cloak the truth within. They see with the aide of the mind and ideas of others.

The aware see what they can feel and become aware of. They taste the nature of consciousness and realize that consciousness is all that is.

About the Book

Three fictional stories that will inspire the imagination, awaken the heart, and give you a rare glimpse of the eternity that resides within you.

Written in the early 1990's, these stories were tucked in a drawer for twenty years, until my life partner, CJ Heck, found them.  She loved them so much that she encouraged me to put all three in a book.

Home: Where the Heart Is:  The tale of a young man from the planet, Maldron, who is banished to Garbon in another galaxy, because he goes against the archaic values of his government.

In Garbon, he begins an adventure which leads him on a dangerous journey through a wondrous land, filled with life-changing challenges, strange beings, new friends, and where ultimately he is given a magical parchment containing the answer for saving his people on Maldron.

Masters of the Park:  A despairing middle-aged man rediscovers the importance of life with the help of a magical little friend in a city park, after falling from a child's swing and hitting his head on a rock.

After coming to, he suddenly finds himself thrust into a parallel time and space dimension which was designed for him alone.

The Ghost of Woodstock:  Jimi Hendrix's ghost returns to help some young guitarists at a music camp near Woodstock.

Through Jimi, the musicians rediscover their own inner magic, the one vital key to releasing the true music dwelling inside their heart.

Eyes of Our Imagination

The likes of the flesh and ego are illusionary and temporary. We see only through our eyes of imagination, not through the heart of existence.

The ego is hungry, wanting to control and hold onto its fantasy of illusion. Truth, Love, and fulfillment are outside the ego’s boundaries.

We only find complete satisfaction in what is real and known to be true. Everything else only titillates the ego and supports the forms it creates within our imagination.

We will never find love, unless we are willing to look into the heart of existence. We must look into our own consciousness and feel the truth we carry inside.

The Few

Millions follow the words of men and the ideas of the ages, but few follow their inner light and truth.

Ideas become crutches of our conscience, resting us in ignorance and torturing us with their incompleteness, yet millions follow to avoid the emptiness within and to ignore the truth of their feelings.

Letting go of the familiar and embracing the unfamiliar is the only pathway to growth in consciousness.

Crisis often forces the many to eventually become the few.

What is Truth?

What is truth?  Truth is not what we believe, or think, but only what we know, or experience, in our consciousness.

Truth is the experience of being inwardly aware and conscious of self, a knowing within the integrity of our being.

When our mind, thoughts, opinions, and beliefs cannot explain or understand the nature of things, truth is what remains. We know, because we simply “know” and knowing is the fundamental nature of our true nature within.

Our truth is our understanding of self as experienced within our relationship to existence.

True Greatness

True Greatness

There are no great men, only the aware and the unaware, and both are participants in their own fate.

One consciously chooses the heart to create from within what is true for them, as guided by their higher, or inner, intelligence.

The other is molded by unconscious forces and builds a shell around himself as an ego that pretends to hide his vulnerability. This type seeks external power, instead of becoming powerful within.

Greatness is seen in the eyes of a child dying of cancer, or an old person with dementia, calmly accepting their fate and surrendering to the vast expanse of the unknown. Both understand that no power of man can solve, or cure, the fate standing before them.

Study Yourself

Study Yourself.  Look within and feel.  Realize the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and awareness.

Knowing self is to know all that is.  Becoming one with eternity is to take on its consciousness.

Many are trapped within the mind and ideas of man, seeking to become like other men, but winding up as mediocre copies of the original.

Become Yourself!  Become what you are meant to be:  a cell in the soul of existence and a reflection of the infinite in time and space.

Look beyond the thoughts and images of man and see within the consciousness of your being.

This is the home of truth -- our truth and your truth.

Timeless

All of our lives are timeless and only experienced through awareness.

Time freezes our attention and makes us believe we are a solitary entity. Awareness allows us to escape the illusion and limitation of time.

We are soul expressing self, through multiple dimensions, all at one time, within the illusion of self.

Everything exists within the moment of now -- every potential, every outcome.

Become Nothing

The ego believes spirituality and religion are a big deal. The aware know it is natural, like breathing.

The ego likes ceremony, pomp, and display. The aware like silence, meditation, and feelings.

The ego sees everything as beyond us. The aware see everything as within us.

The ego says “We must attain”. The aware say “We will become”.

We are within that which we seek.  We must seek that which we are, within.

To be whole, to be soul, we must become nothing.

One Body

One Body

The universe sees through all of its creation, because it is within all of its creation.

One entity is within and it sees through all of existence.

Through diversity and the mind, an impression of more than one exists, but within us, only one body of consciousness exists.

Awareness is the one body exploring, examining, and seeking to remember itself within consciousness.

The mind is a lens that distorts our perception of self and reality, as it looks out of us into our physical existence.

Awareness only looks within to know itself as one.

Total Responsibility

Total Responsability

The aware take responsibility for their life, knowing there is no god, or devil, to blame within.  They are conscious of the workings of life, the universe, and their part within it.

The non-conscious, the religious and non-religious are always looking for a scapegoat to blame their issues on. They fear to look within to understand how they may have participated in the reality they created for themselves.

It is always about things happening “to them” and not what is happening “within them”. They see only what they want to see and ignore the reality within.

The Workings of Love

The Workings of Love

Love is not guaranteed.  It must be cultivated within the heart and shared with another heart --  the presence of love is conditional and it requires an open heart.

To say we love someone is merely lip service, unless we can establish true communion and intimacy.  Love is not cheap.  Saying the word will not convey any meaning, unless we act from pure intent and sincerity of feelings.

To love is to confess our truth in all sincerity, humility, and honesty.  We have to be real and hide nothing from the beloved.

To remain in love, a confessional must exist between two lovers and they must enter it often so they won’t take each other, or love, for granted.

Our Choice

Our Choice

Love is a choice.  Either we disrobe our egos and enter the holy tabernacle of humility and surrender, or we remain outside in the cold protecting our foolish pride.

To be real is a choice. Either we choose to open the door to our true selves, or we hide behind who we only think we are.  Love is dealing with the reality of who we are at the deepest level of our current consciousness.

Love will go as deep and as far as we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and open to intimacy in our relationships.  Love is disrobing fear and remembering the naked innocence within.

Natural Intelligence

Natural Intelligence

Natural intelligence is infinite, alive, whole, and inclusive of everything. It is the living essence of the universe flowing through eternity and beyond.

Educated intelligence is limited, egotistical, and restrictive and only accepts what the mind can believe and understand.  It knows little, but pretends to know a lot.

Little does it understand the nature of existence; therefore, it relies on imagination to build its theories about everything.
