Right-ness

It is not a matter of who is right, but who is more aware. Right is a judgement of the mind, while being aware is knowing within consciousness.

Truth is not arrived at by choosing the right idea, or by making the right decision. Truth is knowing what is real within us.

We come to know what is right for us because we know what is within us -- our true nature within consciousness.

Refreshing

Awareness that is shared blooms into realized consciousness.  It is the voice of the universe speaking directly to our hearts, where its seed rests and remains.

Awareness is like water upon the soil of our soul that refreshes when the dry wasteland of the mind parches us. It is the point within, where the differences can dissolve into unity.

Tasting Death

Tasting Death

We do not feel life, until we have tasted death.

Our mind and ego create a persona that masks the true life within us. Death’s somber presence drops the curtain of the mind and ego, revealing the bare innocence within us.

We have nowhere to go, but to embrace the death within us. Death reveals the deep landscape of our inner being and unveils the knowingness of our true nature.

Welcome any death that touches you, even your own.  Allow the majesty of our soul to baptize you into communion with truth, awareness, and reality.

What is Truth?

What is truth?  Truth is not what we believe, or think, but only what we know, or experience, in our consciousness.

Truth is the experience of being inwardly aware and conscious of self, a knowing within the integrity of our being.

When our mind, thoughts, opinions, and beliefs cannot explain or understand the nature of things, truth is what remains. We know, because we simply “know” and knowing is the fundamental nature of our true nature within.

Our truth is our understanding of self as experienced within our relationship to existence.

There is No Spirituality

There is No Spirituality

There is no spirituality, only our consciousness and awareness within it.

Spirituality is a term created by mind and imagination in an attempt to explain phenomena experienced within the imagination and unconscious. It is a clever distraction from the truth within our being.

Ego and Mind create the distraction of spirituality, so we become lost in imagination and fail to investigate our feelings. It is the old peanut shell game of distraction, where our attention becomes lost in the shuffling of the peanut shells.

Truth is a simple recognition within ourselves of the nature of consciousness and our identity within it. This is our truth.

Truth Revealed

Truth Revealed

The true purpose of a whisper is to affirm the presence of truth within us.

Beyond the mind and beliefs, a whisper awakens our inner intelligence, allowing us to feel its presence within us.

Truth is not remembered with the mind. It is felt within the presence of our beingness.

Silence reveals all truth in our being and, like a calm ocean, we see our true reflection without the distortion of waves.

Meditation places our attention within the silence of our beingness.

Presence

Presence is the nature of oneness and the natural state of our being when we are not identified with anything or anyone.

The mind and ego seek identity to establish their presence, but the heart is the identity of conscious existence.

We see without eyes and we know without thought, because we have become the essence of our innocence again. We are presence and that presence is the fullness of existence within us.

Consciousness embraces everything and is everything, but most importantly it is the full presence of our eternal being detached and observing its creation.

Feel It

In meditation, we feel our inner being in consciousness.

Unlike the effort of thinking, we simply feel the nature of our true identity. It naturally rises in our consciousness. This is the return of the knower, our true self, within.

The mind’s focus is always on something that is to come, or something remembered.  In meditation, time and space are gone and the now (the present) fills us with anticipation of the knower’s presence.

No longer are we a mind seeking our identity. The search is replaced with an identity that knows and feels all that is to be known.

Listen

Whispers are for those who listen behind the words. They feel the truth in them. They feel a presence within them, beyond the words.

To the mind, whispers can be pleasing, even a catalyst for change. They can disturb the mind and incite the ego to respond by making us angry, because they expose and reveal us to ourselves.

Whispers are the warm fuzzy creations of awareness and they soothe and remind us of Home.

A Selfish World

The material world is a reflection of our ego and mind, an experiment in selfishness.

Everything and everyone is treated as an object, or instrument of greed. We use each other for gain and ignore the rich precious nature of our divinity.

We are divided between an addiction to control and a deep hunger for intimacy with others and existence. We have become lost trying to find our souls and a way home within.

We are addicted to ideas and thoughts about what we think is real and true, but experience shows we deceive ourselves again and again and love must be a trick of the imagination.

We cannot leave the physical world, or condemn it, but to find real love, we have to treasure what we know deep within more than our selfishness without.

Effortless

If we spend more time desiring than becoming, we are not living within our being.

Desire is an effort of the mind and ego to fulfill themselves.  Becoming requires no effort.

Existence fulfills us with its being.

The Aware

Anyone can say they are a master, teacher, or guru. The mind is easily influenced and a good salesman knows how to influence it by appealing to the emotions, thoughts and beliefs.

The aware seek no title, privilege or fame, only what they are given and they trust existence to bear fruit.

They form the silence into words so others can remember and understand. They are the creation of existence molded in the silence to give form to awareness.

Know Yourself

Most people will believe in anything, but themselves.

They are staunch supporters of either their imagination, or the imagination of others.
They will follow anyone persuasive and cunning of thought, or words.

It is too painful for them to look into themselves and face the naked truth. They wish for a person, or idea, to rescue and save them from the work that leads to awareness.

Truth is for those strong enough to follow their awareness into the knowledge of inner being.

Truth

Truth is not meant to titillate our imagination, or comfort the illusions of our mind.

Truth cuts to the core of our being and consciousness. It reveals the nature of things and our place within existence. We know because of our truth and the truth.

The unaware exist in a cloud of imagination and fantasy, shifting back and forth from the past into the future. They do not embrace the NOW, or know it.

Reality is embracing the Now and allowing the truth to fill us completely.

Do You Feel?

The universe cares not if you go to psychics, astrologers, tarot readers, numerologists, therapists and counselors, or whether you meditate, chant, or say a rosary.  It asks only, “Do you feel?”

The art of feeling reaches beyond mind and imagination and opens the door of consciousness. Feeling is awareness in motion and consciousness reaching beyond any limitations of thought, mind, and imagination. It is meditation on the moment of our beingness and its truth.

The mysteries of life are buried within our feelings and only revealed through awareness of them.

It is through the simplicity of ‘feeling’ that we receive our healing.

The Law

The law is the enemy of the heart, a curse on the soul, making us prisoners to beliefs and the slaves of others.

For the fearful and rebellious, it is a necessary impediment to their selfish intent and actions.  To the well-intentioned and well-meaning, it becomes an unbearable weight of tyranny to the soul.

It promises more than it can deliver and in the wrong hands, it supports unjust power and a slavery of the masses.

There can be no equality under the law and its justice is an illusion of the self-righteous.

True Teacher

A teacher of words is not a true teacher. They merely communicate ideas to the mind.

A true teacher speaks to the heart and soul from the heart of their soul. They paint the energy of truth on the canvas of our feelings, helping us recognize and discover our own truth within.

The true teacher is skillful, working with the silence, speaking in a language beyond words and imagination. They become the presence of what they teach in wisdom’s light.

True teaching is beyond thought, words, and deeds. It is the breath of the universe breathing life into us.

Solitary Journey

Images of religion, spirituality, and God must evaporate before we can know truth. 

Beliefs must be put aside and we have to face that we do not know, before we can begin the journey back to truth and self.

Imagination is the god of the masses, as we write, and the truth of reality is buried in fantasies and delusions.

No one knows the answer to who we are, or what will be, except for those who dare to feel, experience, and explore the depth of their individual consciousness.

Feelings

Withholding feelings buries our ability to be real and intimate, as well as our understanding and our humanity.

Not to feel is to not know the entire truth, though we think we do.

Feelings convey compassion, intimacy, forgiveness, fairness and healing. They make us authentic and human as well.

Feelings bridge the gap between mind and heart. They facilitate understanding, harmony and wholeness.

They are the gateway to vulnerability and our eventual healing.

Worshiping the Unknown

Religion and Philosophy worship the imagination. They conjure up images and call them truth. 

Life is a speculation, even to the aware, because awareness seldom reveals the fullness of life to us.

We cannot know for certain until we know we are uncertain. Only then will we know what is real and true and infinite.

Life is a mystery of infinite possibilities and so are we. Accept what life and awareness offer and understand -- nothing is set in stone.
