Intelligence

Human intelligence is often stymied by a belief in God or any deity.

Beliefs in good and evil or any form of judgement limit our perceptions of self and our relationship to existence. We are forced to perceive our reality through the lens of a belief that colors true understanding and knowing.

Only our innocent and natural perceptions of self can clearly reveal the nature of our reality and the growth in understanding our truth and path of existence.

We only grow when we know our truth unimpeded by perceptions colored by outside ideas, beliefs and systems of thought secondary to our individual experience.

Knowing

It is easy to “feel” the truth when we trust ourselves. It is easy to “know” the truth when we are aware.

Truth automatically confirms itself within us. It is a recognition, a remembering, of what we knew, forgot, and now remember again.

The mind is like a dog chasing its tail in the hopes of catching it. Awareness cuts to the core of our nature where no outside influence is needed to prove what we know.

The last stop on our journey home is the recognition of our truth within. It is the beginning of our true life and a natural expression of our being.

Revelation

Revelation

The search for truth and awareness is not a search for ideas.

Truth and awareness are not beliefs, but revelations within consciousness, and what reveal our true nature in consciousness. They expose the deception and lies of the mind.

Those who are aware do not follow commandments, rules, or religious icons. They follow their awareness!

They know the freedom of their inner being and realize it in consciousness, knowing truth, and it has set them free.

Feel It

In meditation, we feel our inner being in consciousness.

Unlike the effort of thinking, we simply feel the nature of our true identity. It naturally rises in our consciousness. This is the return of the knower, our true self, within.

The mind’s focus is always on something that is to come, or something remembered.  In meditation, time and space are gone and the now (the present) fills us with anticipation of the knower’s presence.

No longer are we a mind seeking our identity. The search is replaced with an identity that knows and feels all that is to be known.

Gift of Awareness

Wisdom is the essence of awareness and it guides us into our truth.

Knowing is the gift of awareness.  Wisdom directs it within us. Life is unbounded within our awareness. Only the mind, imagination, and emotion bind us to ourselves.

Life is unique, precious, and infinite and our awareness helps us paint our destination on the canvas of existence.

The Aware

Anyone can say they are a master, teacher, or guru. The mind is easily influenced and a good salesman knows how to influence it by appealing to the emotions, thoughts and beliefs.

The aware seek no title, privilege or fame, only what they are given and they trust existence to bear fruit.

They form the silence into words so others can remember and understand. They are the creation of existence molded in the silence to give form to awareness.

Spontaneous Recognition

Awareness is a spontaneous recognition of our true eternal nature in consciousness, an effortless ‘knowing’of our nature and being.

When we are aware, we are more conscious of who we are. It is not necessary to rely on speculation, imagination, or theory. Simply, we know and we are certain of it.

Our truth is the revelation in consciousness of our inner reality through an aware state of being.

We know, because we are the truth of that which we seek.

Now or Never

We are never in the now, nor in touch with our feelings -- this is the problem.

When we exist in our imagination, remembering past transgressions, or hurt, or when we live in the future, hoping for better things to come, they seldom will.

How can we discover our truth and identity within consciousness, if we are never present within?

The mind steals our reality and replaces it with imaginary goals, hopes, and aspirations. The hurt we feel is because our imagination is trying to make us happy and real, but it never will, because it can’t.

We have to embrace the silence to become real again.

Spiritual Growth

We only need to know ourselves through awareness, not follow commandments, techniques, prayers,meditations, or rituals.

All of these appease the mind and ego, but give a false belief that we are progressing spiritually -- we are not.

The purpose of awareness is to make us fully conscious, knowing our truth and its reality. All else are mind games for the ego.

When we think we are progressing spiritually by following any advice or instruction, we are not. Only through surrender and an emptiness of self, do we realize our true spiritual nature in consciousness.

True spiritual healing and wholeness is feeling everything we can be aware of within our consciousness.

Presence

Presence doesn't think, it exists. 

Being is a presence that encompasses all existence.  It fills everything known and unknown.

Truth is the experience of Presence, which lives within being-ness.  All are one.

Truth shares being-ness through eternity, especially into the unknown, where it exists alone.

The void is the gap between being and becoming, a gateway to presence and truth, through awareness within consciousness.

Wisdom is living truth with awareness and the presence of being.

We become whole when we rest in truth, wisdom, presence, and awareness within our being.

Devotion

Do not confuse religious devotion with Awareness. They are not the same. 

Devotion is emotionalizing the imagination, making an idea or object more than it actually is:  ‘Idolatry with Form’.

There is no emotion with awareness, only simple, pure recognition of the nature of reality within consciousness.  It is matter of fact knowing and a silent reverence for the eternal within us.

The aware realize it is no big deal to be aware; for the devoted, emotion is their drug of choice.

Now, or Never

 Those who are aware, know they are aware right now. They are not seeking to believe and become, in a future time.

There is nothing to attain, because they know who and what they are in consciousness, whereas, the believer always hopes to attain, but never does.

The aware live in the moment of Now and they understand all effort is a waste of time and energy. They know the struggle and release of the mind were necessary to bring their attention back to the source within. 

They regret nothing and realize everything was perfect on their journey back to self.

Suffering

It is the aloneness of suffering that torments the mind.

The ego and mind in conflict is what creates our personal hell.

The ego is too proud to share and the mind never forgets. It is only when we touch that sacred place, the heart of surrender, that we become free of the torment and pain of remembering.

We are never alone, or lost, when we remember to share.

Reality, or Imagination?

 What is real cannot be imagined, or it would not be real.

Reality is not the property of mind, imagination, thought, or idea. It is the conscious ‘knowing’ of what is real, permanent, and eternal. 

Reality never changes, but can express itself in a billion other ways. It is the energy and essence of life-consciousness.

People all over the world are worshiping what is in their imagination, not the reality of existence. Imaginary prayers are being offered to imaginary gods, with hope as the glue that binds them. But what about reality?

Individual egos pretend to surrender to the greatest ego of all. The temporary god [idea] takes responsibility for everything and we are merely slaves.

An idea can be replaced by another idea, but truth is never replaceable.

Can You Feel It

If what you read, or hear, only tickles the imagination, then it has not touched the truth within you. 

If what you read, or hear, causes you to fantasize, then it has not touched the truth within you.

Truth cuts below the layers of fantasy and imagination and uncovers our knowingness.  It reveals what cannot be answered by the mind and imagination. It cuts to the quick of us and leaves us with no excuses.

Truth is always the final destination on our journey home [within] to befriend truth and know what is real and lasting beyond mind and imagination.

The Bully

 Courage is the willingness to face fear, because fear is a bully.

Fear is a guardian to keep the ego in place.  As long as fear is present, awareness cannot enter our conscious. The ego wants and needs control to keep awareness at bay.  Emotions and imagination support the presence of fear.

Our fears are a challenge.  We have to accept and allow them, not fight them. When we fight fear, we lose. The mind panics and a breakdown in consciousness occurs.

Watching our fear is the key to managing it. This distances us from identifying with the fear, which causes our pain and trauma. We are not our fear.

The Knower

Awareness

 Power belongs to the knower, not the believer.

Through mind and imagination, the believer hopes their dream will manifest, or that they are right about life and themselves.

They think they can influence life and make it obey their will, with no need for inner change -- believe and it will be so.

The knower expects life to unfold naturally, according to plan. They are “one with life”, unlike the believer who is “against it”.

The believer hopes to deserve.  The knower knows they do.

The believer thinks he is powerful and encourages deluded thinking, by living in a world of self-created fantasy.

The knower exists in the certainty of reality and the knowingness of their being. Creation and existence seeks to flow through them. They do the will of eternity.

Chasing Our Tail

Life is a feeling, not a thought. Thoughts come after life and feeling.  Thoughts are outside life, but necessary for balance within our being.

We exist in two worlds at the same time, but we are one presence in eternity. The mind distorts our true identity and our view of reality. 

Think of it like a dog relentlessly chasing its tail.  By running in circles, we will never catch it – it’s right where it should be and always has been.  We have only to accept that we have one.

Someone told us to chase it, but we did not have to.

The Soul

The soul does not condemn us.  It is not the God of our fathers. 

Soul is the essence of existence and it is free and limitless. It gives all things the freedom to be, to grow, and eventually to know. It is not a judge, but a passive observer of all things.

The soul is the feeling of life, without the judgment and separation of the mind and ego. It has no commandments for us to follow, other than to live, learn, and grow in awareness of ourselves and life by experience.

When we accept ourselves as we are and the events of our life, we are following the soul of existence. We are given opportunities to learn, grow, and know our natural self, without judgment.

When we follow the god of the ego, we must judge our actions and our life. The soul is not a judge of life.

The soul allows us to fail in following its love and wisdom, without condemnation.

Blind Leading the Blind

 We need more explorers in consciousness and less followers of beliefs, isms, and credos.

Religions and spiritual leaders influence millions by pushing their beliefs.  They believe in the Bible, the Koran, and the Gita, but do not personally ‘know’ the essence within them.

Too many believe in beliefs and are not who they profess to be, nor any closer to the truth than the totally unaware.
