In Sheep's Clothing

The mental seduction of the masses is not the goal of awareness.

Awareness touches the heart and soul quietly in the peaceful privacy of silence. It does not seek, or need, an audience.

Those who seek an audience want to seduce us mentally and convince us they have the answers. They seek to make us believe we need them for salvation. They carry secrets within that they will share with us -- for a price.

In most cases, our freedom is the price and they pollute our consciousness with lies, like a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Reverence?

Hold no reverence for any god of the mind and imagination.

Worshiping gods takes us away from our own inner self discovery of truth.

The imagination is not the reality of our inner being.  Reality is full conscious knowing and the recognition of the truth within us and about us, within existence. Know yourself and you will know all that is needed to be known.

The worship of images within the imagination makes us slaves to the ideas of others, robs our soul of power, and leaves us open to guilt and judgment.

The Bully

 Courage is the willingness to face fear, because fear is a bully.

Fear is a guardian to keep the ego in place.  As long as fear is present, awareness cannot enter our conscious. The ego wants and needs control to keep awareness at bay.  Emotions and imagination support the presence of fear.

Our fears are a challenge.  We have to accept and allow them, not fight them. When we fight fear, we lose. The mind panics and a breakdown in consciousness occurs.

Watching our fear is the key to managing it. This distances us from identifying with the fear, which causes our pain and trauma. We are not our fear.

Slave or Servant

We only know a person’s intentions through awareness. 

The mind is easily influenced by the suggestions and emotions of others. We are either manipulated into serving others, or willingly surrendering to assist them. One is our choice, the other is theirs.

Fear makes us slaves, while love sets us free to serve and surrender to a greater good.

Discernment is needed for us to see which we are:  slave, or servant?

Sheep

 

A sheep is a follower, a believer in beliefs. 

They will not listen with the heart and only believe what they are told.

Languishing in a dream world, they are lazy, preferring others to tell them what is true. Sheep are ignorant of self and feel others know what is best for them.

A slave to ideas, thoughts, theories and commandments, a sheep is a victim, who allows himself to be used, too afraid to let go and find the truth within.

A sheep merely rides along, leaving the driving to others...
