Cleaning out the closet
Sometimes you have to go into your closet and throw away old clothing. They may have sentimental value for you, but they are most likely torn, dust coated, smelly and the fabric is worn out. Beliefs are like that, they have a time in our lives where they mentally create a bridge between ignorance and awareness. They act as incomplete truths until a time comes when we are forced to toss them away because they are outdated, worn and useless. Our understanding has come to a point where the beliefs no longer hold up against new realizations about the nature of things. We have come to the point of knowing and no longer have a need for beliefs to hold us up mentally; we found the new life in awareness through a new reality that was hidden in our feelings.
