Donations allow the client to determine the value of a service offered. Those who charge fee's may control the business end of what they are doing, but they don't control results. Donations are a more honest way of being paid by allowing the client to decide the value of the service.
For those who abuse this privilege you can always refuse to serve them. Those who say that they could not live off donations only should consider bartering or not being in business. There are far too many people advertising themselves as healers in business that should not be doing it.
If you are the real deal, people will come to you and if you are not you may need to keep your day job. True spiritual healing is not a business, it is a service to humanity.
