The first cousin of the ego is fear. Fear alerts
the ego that it is losing control and the mind and imagination begin a
publicity campaign within your consciousness to support all the imaginary
reasons why the worst can happen if you allow any surrender of the ego. Your
awareness rests on the underside of this campaign of the mind and ego and as
the witness of all your being it permits you to accept all fear without
judgment. It separates the mind and ego from identifying with all manner of
imaginary demons and dark outcomes. As you surrender within your awareness the
ability of the mind and ego to identity with fear and the imagination lessons.
Your knowing identity overpowers the identity associated with the mind and ego
and thus fear is overpowered by truth.
