The mind and imagination work in conjunction to produce either hope or despairing thoughts. Moving into the future the mind and imagination create images of either positive or negative possibilities. Neither of these are real, but they promise results or conclusions within the imagination.
In the moment, the mind and the imagination do not exist. In the moment the mind and imagination do not influence you. It is awareness that works in conjunction with the universe and not the imagination. The imagination is a machine of illusions that creates false hopes and exaggerated despair.
