Moments are alive, memories are dead in a sense. One is the feeling of life in the now and the other are simply thoughts and emotions that rise from the mist of the past. The future is also dead in a sense as it contains hopes and dreams yet to be fulfilled, but currently are not and may never be. Your life is now or it is not. Your awareness reveals life in the now on a grander unseen scale or your mind creates from dead memories or hopes that may never be achieved in this lifetime. Either you are becoming more aware of the truth within you or you are sinking into a dead past of memories or a future of hopes and dreams that are not guaranteed to fulfill you. Your life is lived moment to moment always and true life does not exist outside of them.
