Transparency
Transparency is necessary if what is taught is to be given
credibility. Too many times the message and the messenger are confused in the
minds of those influenced by the teaching.
It is this unnecessary adulation or anger directed at the teacher that
creates a gap in understanding for those taught. Teachers are all human with
ego’s and issues they are working through. It is incorrect to assume that they
have all the answers and that they are infallible. It is this projected hero
worship or demonizing directed outwardly to persons, ideas and philosophies and
even deities that is the first cause of losing your power. You cannot claim
your power if you are believing in the power of some other person or deity. You
must own yourself first and then reclaim your power through awareness. In
teaching it is always the message that is more important than the messenger
that delivers it.
