True prayer is silent communion with existence in the knowingness of our being. It is non-spoken and there is
no asking of favors. It is the silent enjoyment of existence within the soul of our nature.
The ego loves to pray, beg, bargain and steal God’s attention. It wants to change the rules of the game in its favor. It seeks control from the illusionary controller of the universe.
When we pray according to the demands of our ego we inflate our own and we diminish our power through slavery to the unknown god and become a prisoner to our own imagination.
