Spiritual Glamour

Spiritual Glamour
Spiritual information that cannot be applied directly to our understanding of self is useless -- if it only teases the imagination, it is worthless.

If what we are taught cannot be practically applied to expand our understanding of ourselves within, it is deception.

Spiritual glamour is not awareness.  It only supports the spiritual ego, not the path to inner knowing.

There is too much glamour in the religious, spiritual, new age and metaphysics communities!  Too many seem headed for Hollywood – have they forgotten the way “Home”?

    I am intrigued and like the term "Spiritual Glamour." I think I know what you mean but it would be great if you could provide some actual examples. Also the phrase "spiritual ego" seems contradictory to me. In my mind it's either Spirit (God, Source, etc.) or ego. Your thoughts on this?

    Anything that promotes the messenger and not the message is glitz and glamour. The ego loves to be spiritual and convinces the mind that if it only believes it will be saved or whole. Both are a great deception and not based in reality or truth.
