True Greatness

There are no great men, only the aware and the unaware, and both are participants in their own fate.

One consciously chooses the heart to create from within what is true for them, as guided by their higher, or inner, intelligence.

The other is molded by unconscious forces and builds a shell around himself as an ego that pretends to hide his vulnerability. This type seeks external power, instead of becoming powerful within.

Greatness is seen in the eyes of a child dying of cancer, or an old person with dementia, calmly accepting their fate and surrendering to the vast expanse of the unknown. Both understand that no power of man can solve, or cure, the fate standing before them.
