Pushed
Suffering and Pain are both servants to wisdom. They strip us of all identification with the ego and mind and leave us helplessly numb to anything but the truth and what is real. Their strength is due to our lack of surrender and refusing to let go of the fear and anger that accompany them.
When we are pushed to the limit that our mind can handle and we wish that death could embrace us and hide us from the horror that we feel for ourselves inside, then do we sense a glimmer of the hope and relief from within. We need to be pushed beyond the grip that the mind, emotion and idea hold on us to experience the reality of who we are. We need to be pushed beyond the mind into consciousness and feeling and as such is the dark night of the soul within us who are awakening.
It is a form of madness and a time of rebirth that accompanies us into awakening. We must release our outer identity and embrace again the root identity within our existence. Only then can we experience and feel the joy and bliss that comes from the wholeness of our being joined into existence.
