It is only when you sacrifice your expectations, your ideas, and your beliefs that you come to an authentic awareness of who you are and what you have to share with others. Awareness is born upon the unfulfilled expectations, dreams and hopes of a lifetime. You must see and feel the failure of the ego and experience the painful rejection it experiences when it realizes it is not good enough to be real.
You must look at yourself in the mirror of your consciousness and say the words “FAKE, IMPOSTER, and DECEIVER” as your tears empty you of the poison of pretending. It often comes to gut-wrenching sobs of inner grief before the cleansing of your awareness can begin. Light never shines so brightly as when it comes from within deep darkness and the truth of your being must emerge from the shadow of lies you have embraced till the morning dawns within you.
