The universal language of feelings

When you feel, you are joining the universal language of humanity. In our minds we are all different and in our eyes we look different as well. It is only within the feelings of the heart that we share a common ancestry. The expressions on our faces reveal the truth within us all and no words are needed to communicate these feelings, we all share them together in time. You can convince yourself mentally and visually that someone is different than you, but in those moments of heartfelt realizations you see a common theme within us all. We are all looking for a heart behind the mask of our personalities and opinions. We are in essence looking for our own heart within the smiles and tears of others. We want to touch, share and be closer than we are, but something is in the way and an invisible barrier or wall stands between us. We want to survive, so we play the game at the expense of feeling and our hearts shrivel as well as our humanity at times. We are only living, but we are not alive. We think each day and every moment how to manipulate and control the next, but the joy of living eludes us. It is only when we stop enough to feel that we can begin to be honest enough with ourselves and others and share in the healing that only this can bring.
