Words have no power without awareness

Words mean nothing, in some cases your word may mean nothing. When they are filled with hollow promises and unfulfilled hopes and dreams they are a useless exercise in imagination. Most of our days are filled with excursions into the imagination where we hope, fantasize and dream of our lives being other than what they are. This is because we do not come from the authentic center of our being and our awareness. Imagination is a fine tool for creating colorful imagery for books, paintings, movies and such, but it is not seated in the deep reality of you. It is a secondary product of the mind and almost useless in conveying the truth both to yourself and others. You may create a beautiful book, story or art piece but you cannot construct a beautiful you out of it. Awareness is the paintbrush of existence, painting a living story of your life upon the canvass of the moment of now. The colors of truth are what the universe uses to paint the real you, not the substitute colors of imagination unless you only want to be an actor and not real.
